How to SmartWave

1. Start with completely dry hair. Brush through and apply your usual heat protectant.
2. Choose your temperature. Start lower and increase only if your hair needs more heat to hold the style.
3. Work in small sections. Smaller sections are easier to control and usually give a cleaner curl.
4. Position the ends near the barrel. Keep the tool away from your scalp and skin.
5. Choose L or R. Press the left or right rotation button to guide the section around the barrel.
6. Hold briefly, then release. Let the curl fall into your hand and allow it to cool before brushing or separating.

Defined curl or soft wave? You decide.

For a more defined finish, leave each curl intact while it cools.

For softer, expensive-looking waves, allow the curls to cool completely, then gently brush through or separate them with your fingers.

Use smaller sections for more definition. Use larger sections and a larger barrel for a looser, softer result.

SmartWave offers an adjustable temperature range of approximately 100°C to 230°C.

Fine, fragile or colour-treated hair will generally need less heat, while thicker or more resistant hair may need a higher setting. Begin at a lower temperature and increase gradually only when needed.
