How to use the Slayed Beauty® Steam Straightener

1. Start with completely dry, detangled hair. Apply your usual heat protectant before styling.
2. Fill the water tank. Remove the 40ml reservoir and fill it with clean water only. Do not overfill.
3. Choose your temperature. Start at a lower setting and increase only if your hair needs more heat.
4. Work in small sections. Smaller sections allow the comb, steam and plates to work more evenly.
5. Position at the roots. Keep the tool slightly away from the scalp and close the plates around the section.
6. Glide slowly from root to tip. Let the comb guide the strands while the steam and plates smooth the section.
7. Repeat only if needed. Avoid unnecessary passes once the section is smooth.
8. Let the hair cool. Allow the finished section to settle before brushing through or styling further.

The Steam Straightener offers an adjustable temperature range of approximately 160°C to 220°C.

Fine, fragile or colour-treated hair: begin toward the lower end of the range.

Medium hair: start in the middle and adjust only if required.
